Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If i was a passenger in a car and we got pulled over but i had a small amount of narcotics on me, but the police took me and released me on thr notion that i would be an informant for them, do i have to do that for them?

Whenever you have any kind of dealings with police, it is a good idea to hire an attorney. The police are known for lying to people in order to get what they want. From your question, it sounds like the police are in fact trying to do that over a fairly minor charge
