Re: Past felony possession for sales
Not a dificult task given the existence of certain facts which deem the granting of such as a matter of RIGHT.
Given your new course of conduct perhaps seeking a "Certificate of Rehabilation" might be appropriate.
An expungement allows you to answer "no" as to prior felony convictions for purposes of MOST standard employment/licensing applications and prevents the conviction being used by those employers in hiring/licensing decisions.
The CERT. OF REHAB. RELIEVES YOU OF CERTAIN CRIMINAL PENALTIES ASSOCIATED WITH CONVICTION. It is not a matter of right, and to seriously pursue such you must "jump through some hoops." Though it is not granted as frequently, it's worth it to try..."nothing ventured, nothing gained." Either way, the starting point is to acquire the expungement (1st step) along the way to the last step (which is a "Pardon" and is rarely given).

IF you were not sentenced to any prison time, whether served or not, and have completed all terms of probation, and have no further convictions, feel free to contact me for legal help in filing the Application and motion to expunge your conviction. If granted you'll be able to say 'no' to conviction on most employment applications.
