Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Is there anyway to pay off the community labor instead of going ? I work full time and have no time to go. I have 60 days of 8hr day labor. Can I pay this off and If so where do I go ? I got a PD instead of a lawyer.

First of all a PD is a lawyer, often a very good lawyer. Any problems you have completing your community labor should be discussed with your lawyer.

You must go back to court and seek a change of sentencing order. You may be able to translate it into fines, or might find the court unsympathetic and order you to do it or jail, which is what you started with.
