Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I am currently in a PC 1000 program and I am a first time offender I am about to start a certified Nurse assistant program, but my question is will it show up in a background check? I know that I cannot have any prior convictions or felonies specially if its related to drugs, and it has to clear with the health department.

Records are forever, and they 'show up'. You will be required to disclose the real details in any application for professional and government licensing, security clearance, bonding, etc. It will then be up to the agency to decide if you are barred from license or employment because of the charges.
