Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Penal Code 243(m)
What is penal code 243(m)? Are there different penal codes for misdemeaners and felonies, or are they just different sub-catagories under the same penal code?

Re: Penal Code 243(m)
There is no (m) on 243. Depending on how it is charged, some 243 charges are misdemeanor, some are felony, battery counts. Get yourself an attorney if this is about you. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting legal help.
