Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
what are the possible penalties/jail time for forging a prescription??? why would a DA wait three months to file???

Why is irrelevant. If his was charged as a felony, as is possible, you face years in prison; up to a year in jail if charged as a misdemeanor. Now, if serious about getting legal representation to try to stay out of jail, feel free to contact me.
