In California, the new law, just passed, makes it only a serious violent Felony that can used as a 3rd strike. This is still a 2nd strike, and therefore very serious, and you need a highly qualified attorney to try to keep you out of prison...My office has handled 100's of these cases in the past 20 years. Call me, if you have any questions......David Wallin....(661-267-1313)

Even though felon in possession is a new felony with prison time upon conviction, it probably is not a third strike. If serious about getting legal counsel to fight this, feel free to contact me.
