Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Photographing and Publishing Minors
Recently a commercial photographer came to our little league game and photographed the kids. He was not invited. He asked one parent and she gave oral permission to take pictures of her child.
All the photos he took are now up for sale on a publicly accessable web site. These include many photos of many kids, mine included.
Is this against any laws?

No, but you possibly have grounds to bring action against him for invasion of privacy and commercial use of the photos without 'releases'.
