Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
plea bargain
i need advice for plea bargaining. the defendant has been charges with 3 counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of interference with traffic devices. the basic story is that he supposedly took a street sign from an off ramp of an intersection, and some visitors drove onto the off ramp and collided with a car going the opposite direction (the right direction). please give advice on good plea bargains.

Re: plea bargain
Plea bargaining needs to be done by a competent criminal law attorney. I cannot give you advice on this issue for three reasons. First, I am not familiar with the California rules of criminal procedure or the penal statutes. Second, even if I was you have not provided enough information. Third, advising you on this "process" is too close to the line of being unethical pursuant to the Florida Bar Code of Ethics. My advice is that you contact a criminal defense attorney to do this for you. Criminal Lawyers fees reach maximum fruition during such discussions.

The only good advice is to get a competent attorney to 'deal' with this. Without knowing all the facts and discussions to date with the DA, there is no basis for giving advice worth anything. Contact me if interested.
