Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I plea guilty to 2 counts on a mistemeanors ,on the plea deal they ask for money on top of that restitution!I was sentence to pay fine and 3 years probation.My guestion is I have a hearing to see if i came up with money or else ! On my dock it say's review of jail time .The money they are asking is 10000.00 but i don't have it cause times are hard and couldnt find a job ..but i have $2000 thats all i came up with?

No advice from here is going to help you, other than to tell you to tell the true story to the judge at the hearing, present him a payment plan you can actually follow, and hope he grants additional time for you to pay. If not, you potentially face jail time.
We don't know enough to answer. Were you supposed to make payments, or find $10,000 and just hand it to them. If you have $2000, why did you not give it already to the victim? Do you have an excuse?
