How do i go about getting my police record sealed or expunged?

YOu can frequently expunge a misdemeanor conviction in CA, and sometimes can get a felony conviction expunged, all depending on the facts. Expungement requires no prison time served, completion of all terms of probation, and/or at least a year from conviction without further arrest. You can't, unless charges were dismissed or you were wrongfully convicted and can prove it, and are, therefore, eligible for a pardon from the Governor.
