Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
police report admissable?
I am being charged with a misdomeaner of domestic violence. The deputy who wrote the report, ''misdocumented'' I say fabricated alot of the information, including what my fiance` told them. Doesn't this report have to be completly accurate to be concidered admissable in a court of law?

Re: police report admissable?
No. You may be able to attack his credibility at pre-lim or trial with any inconsistencies between his report and his testimony. Understand that DV charges will generally be vigorously prosecuted, whether the victim wants to or not. Be prepared, and hire an attorney. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.
