Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

i can not own or posess fire arms because of criminal record.My question is can i live in a house where someone legaly owns firearms and are registered and kept in a safe.Can i still rent a room in this house?

Yes, but at risk. You commit and can be charged with a felony if found 'in possession' of any firearms or ammunition. That means in any proximity of access to you. The only safe way for you is to have the firearms and ammunition securely locked in a gun safe to which you have NO access, preferably in a locked room to which you have NO access. Don't ride in a vehicle with firearms or ammunition.
