positive urinalysis on parole from prescription medication

I am on parole and because of the prescription medication (desoxyn 5mg 2 times daily) I take my urinalysis tests are positive for methamphetamine. The parole dept says I am not allowed to take my medication and refuses to make a record of it in my file, consequently my parole is violated. I have been employed at the same location for almost 2 years and my employer feels my contribution to the company is irreplaceable.can i file anything with the courts to allow me my medication?

While I would need much more information before I could answer your question specifically, it seems to me that your medical needs take priority over your PO's "rules," or whatever makes him/her deny you the right to take a prescription medication. However, since you are probably already violated, the focus will be to prevent a finding of a violation, and if successful, then to seek a court order allowing you to take your meds.
