Your friend should go have a toxicology screening done on his own. There are screening businesses and/or tox labs that will do a hair folicle test or a urinalysis for a price - usually between $75 and $150 depending on the type of screening requested. He should also contact a criminal defense attorney as soon as possible.

"Info to help?" Hire an attorney, unless he already knows how to effectively represent himself in court pleadings and hearings against a paid professional prosecutor trying to put him in jail. A free 'hint and tip' is of no value to him. There is no magic incantation for him to mumble to make this disappear. He'll have to properly raise whatever defenses he has, use whatever witnesses he has. If serious about getting counsel, feel free to contact me.
