Re: possesion of a controled substance

What will happen is up to the judge, DA and probation department, as influenced and persuaded by her attorney. Without counsel, she faces potential jail time. If she is serious about getting counsel to represent her, have her contact me. If she can't afford counsel, she needs to apply for the public defender.

Re: possesion of a controled substance

At the very worst, she will be eligible for a program called Deferred Entry of Judgment. It is a 1st offender drug program with 18 months of probation and then the charge will be dismissed and there will not be a conviction on her record.

I say "at worst" because it's possible that the outcome can be even better, but that requires more information than I have here. If she'd like to talk to me about representing her, please don't hesitate to contact me. Good luck. Steve Mandell
