In strictly legal terms, (apart from any sanctions the school might impose), the exposure here can be possession for sale and possession of a dangerous weapon. In a juvenile case, the punishment can be all over the place depending upon factors like prior record, where the case is held and any mitigating or aggravating circumstances. It can range from community service with probation, with complete dismissal at the end, to serious confinement. Consult a local attorney.
