Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I would like to know that if I was preparing for trial in a criminal case but we have not started am I able to relieve the lawyer I have now and find another one or is it to late. The reason being is we are not on the same page I feel we need paticular experts for the defense and my lawyer does not agree. Should I be concerned

Yes you can get new counsel. Whether he will have time to do all the things necessary is part of what you have to discuss with him. If you are serious about doing so, and this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.
California allows you to fire your lawyer at any time, with or without cause. The big issue is whether the court will appoint a new attorney for you, or continue the trial. If the judge thinks you are stalling, and you have a history of stalling in the case, and repeatedly changing lawyers at the last minute, the judge can deny granting a continuance.
