Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

probation and parole

i was wondering if someone had felony probation in Orange County, Ca, and was ordered parole in Riverside County, Ca, does the probation in the one county roll over into the parole in the other county? or would you have both (probation in orange county, and parole through riverside county)? and if so, is there any way you could combine the two?

Re: probation and parole

You could request consolidation into one county or the other, call if you want legal help doing so.

Re: probation and parole

Report to both the parole officer and the probation officer. Consolidation of the two can be done by discussing the matter with the probation officer and parole officer. The most likely result would be for the parole officer to be responsible for both cases.

If the offense for which the person is on probation occurred while that person was on parole, it may be best not to raise the issue as any offense occurring while the person is on probation is a parole violation.

It would be best to contact an attorney and discuss the facts with the attorney.
