Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
my question is that my brother was charged with a case 530.5a getting credit with other's id and he paid cash for the items and did not steal the item what is the maximum sentence he can get and also his right was never read to him and how can he raise an issue on that

He will get to defend against the criminal charges using whatever admissible and credible evidence he may have. The prosecutor has to prove the case, and they may not be able to do so.
