First, you must have the warrant recalled by taking care of this as soon as absolutely possible. Depending upon the circumstances of your case, i.e., how serious it is, the courthouse where you were supposed to appear, and whether you are going to have a good lawyer, you might be able to handle this through a lawyer without having to appear yourself.

If you cannot afford a lawyer, call the Public Defender's office at the court where you were supposed to make your appearance. Or show up first thing in the morning and talk to them. Usually, to take care of outstanding warrants you must be in court very first thing in the morning.

Delay is your worst enemy in this case. The longer you wait the more unsympathetic the judge will be towards not punishing you for missing court or about giving you an extension.

Re: Question on felony charge

You go to court at 8 AM SHARP and ask the clerk to have your case put up. Pray hard that your bail isn't revoked and you aren't remanded to custody. Bringing a lawyer with you will help!

You don't. IF you're smart, you'll promptly go to court and turn yourself in on the warrant, and handle the charges and warrant correctly, this time. You'd be well advised to hire an attorney to do this with you. If you wait, you'll end up getting arrested, taken in cuffs and shackles to jail and then court. The judge will not be happy with you. Feel free to contact me for that help if you get serious about handling this right.
