You are being 'asked nicely' to come 'discuss' your problem. Translation: come on in so we can arrest and jail you without having to go find and get you. You are free to comply, but at least exercise the 5th Amendment right to SHUT UP and do NOT talk to police or anyone about the case except with and through an attorney. Instead, your should hire an attorney to defend you in the criminal charges, and let him take you to court to deal with the warrant, rather than you spending several days in jail waiting to be transported there in an orange jump suit.
