I recently got a MIP and false representation of identity, i was just wondering if I can do anything to get the misdemeanor off my record and possibly to get my fines reduced?

If you have already been to court and are unhappy with the sentence you received, the answer is no.

If you are asking aout possible outcome:

When charged with a misdemeanor, you potentially face up to 6-12 months in jail and fines, suspension of license, etc. -- on each count. You have two. Effective plea-bargaining, using whatever legal defenses, facts and sympathies you may have, could possibly keep you out of jail, and keep the fines 'reasonaable', depending upon all the facts and evidence. Not exactly a do it yourself project in court for someone who does not know how to effectively represent themselves against a professional prosecutor intending to convict you. If serious about hiring counsel, feel free to contact me. Ill be happy to help you use whatever defenses you may have. If you can't afford private counsel, apply for the Public Defender.
