If you did prison time, you cannot reduce those felonies. Your only remedy is to file a petition for a certificate of rehabilitation and get a pardon. See this link: http://www.courts.ca.gov/1070.htm#acc9464
Nice try.
Some CA convictions can be 'expunged' from criminal records by proper application and Petition to the court, but ONLY IF there was no felony prison time sentenced whether served or not, and if it was not for certain listed sexual crimes, and if all terms of sentencing and at least one year of probation are completed, and if there are no new charges pending.
If youre serious about doing this, and you think you qualify under those rules on any of the convictions, feel free to contact me for the legal help you'll need.
There is no expungement law in California - what we do have is a dismissal. Unfortunately, being sentenced to state prison disqualifies you from the reduction and dismissal.
You're limited to a certificate of rehabilitation and a pardon. The certificate of rehabilitation can be had in the right circumstances, but a pardon is rarely granted.
