Can you fight it? Sure, by having your husband file a motion to modify the terms of parole/probation. With your testimony, it may be possible. Feel free to contact me if interested in doing this right, and the case is in SoCal.
Re: Upon Release from Ca State Prison
He may be allowed peaceful contact if you agree. He should also enroll in any domestic violence course that is available while he is in custody. Then you should obtain information on domectic violence programs that are available in the area where you live. This will increase the probability of the change in his probation or parole allowing peaceful contact. If he is on parole you should also include a request that you and he can live together. Parole conditions are often more stringent that probation conditions.

Your husband can move to modify the terms of his probation and your testimony will go a long way in convincing the judge that it is safe for your husband to come home.
