Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

If I was released on AB109 and after approx. 6 months on supervision I absconded, what can the court legally sentence me to for my first violation? Also do AB109 violations have a statute of limitations?

For violation of probation terms, such as this, the penalty could be sentence to the original full jail term in the plea bargain. You made, and now broke, promises to the court to do certain things, in return for staying out of jail. The court is no longer bound to its side of the probation promises. There is no stature of limitations on arrest warrants, which is what you now have, on new criminal charges of probation violation. You really should hire experienced counsel to represent you in dealing with this, to minimize the penalties by showing 'good faith' in voluntarily turning yourself in to court through counsel. If serious about doing so, feel free to contact me.
