Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

request for expungement

I was convicted of only 1 felony in my lifetime, it was 33 years ago. It was for sell/transport marijuana. I was 18 years old. I am moving out of state and will need to find work. I have been a professional Chef for about 25 years and have only a few minor infractions on my record. How can I get this reduced or off my record. I downloaded the for but I seems that it will not take of this. any advice would be great. Thanks, Gary

Re: request for expungement

You may have more hurdles if the records have been distroyed and you do not have a certifiec copy. Call me directly at 1.619.222.3504. I do not necessarily agree that it cannot be expunged if you served time.

If you served prison time, or were sentenced to do so, you can't expunge. If neither, then it may be possible by petitioning the court in a series of motions. Feel free to ocntact me if you want legal help doing so.
