Required Disclosure ??

If I had a misdemeanor in another state which was expundged do I need to disclose in a criminal conviction disclosure form

Expungement allows you to say 'no' to conviction on most private employment applications, but not if applying for a govt or political job, or any position requiring state licensing or certification. Those applications will advise you that you must disclose expungements.

Technically, the answer would depend on what the expungement law is in the state where you were convicted and got your conviction "expunged". In California, if your misdemeanor was expunged you would not have to reveal it on a job application unless you applied to be a police officer, to work for a state lottery, or was running for a political office.
