Rifle Legality in California
Wondering if it is legal to own a postban Colt AR-15 in California. I am of age 18, and have recently been contracted by the US Army(Army ROTC) thank you

Post ban AR-15's must be registered with the state as an 'assault rifle', and can not now be sold in CA. If you currently have one unregistered in CA, you have a problem that could make you a felon, as the time limit for 'amnesty' registration is now passed. Consult an attorney - check with the CA Rifle and Pistol Assoc for the names of the few attorneys who specialize in this area, or contact me for advice off line.
