What are the rights of an inmate while hospitalized with cancer.

To reasonable medical treatment from staff doctors according to AMA guidelines, if it will likely result in recovery of health or survival without extraordinary measures; pain management in lieu of treatment if he is terminal. He is not entitled to 'the best available' private provider care at premier facilities. And, with the state budget crisis and bankrupt budgets, he faces real problems.
