Re: run away
There is an arrest warrant outstanding on him, that will be there 'forever' until recalled. He can either turn himself in through an attorney, or continue to risk being taken to jail if he ever comes in contact with police such as in a traffic stop.
To do it right, he needs to take responsibility, have an attorney bring him to court and negotiate a 'deal' for him that includes the original offense and the failure to appear. If he does it voluntarily, the chances are he will get a far better outcome than waiting to be arrested. He shows good faith to the court by turning himself in if done correctly. Have him contact me if interested in doing this right.
