Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

sealing records for employment

Because of misdemeanor on record, employment is becoming difficult due to Background Checks. Felony of Welfare fraud was reduced to misdemeanor. One week away from finishing 90 days community service. need to pay court fees of 250.00 and complete 36 months probation. Can I request from judge end of probation to close record to obtain employment in my field?
