Re: selling prescription drugs

You should have known that before you pled guilty to charges that dictate multiple years in prison. If you don't already have an agreed plea bargain, that is if you simply submitted to the judge's discretion in sentencing, it's too late now to do much about it except plead for sympathy from the judge. As stated by other counsel, you could try to withdraw your plea and start over, but that carries its own risks. Consult with a criminal lawyer to see what you can do. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.

For sales you could face up to four years in state prison but such sentence is unlikely if you have an otherwise clean criminal record. If this is your first offense, you are most likely looking at probation with or without county jail time.

You should be represented by a lawyer who should have informed you about everything. If you pled guilty without ever being represented you probably made a mistake. You should never plead guilty without having your case reviewed by an attorney, especially when you do not have a plea bargain agreement in place.

If you do not have a lawyer, contact one asap. Perhaps the best option would be to withdraw your plea, which is still possible if you have not been sentenced yet.
