sex offense case

in 1996 my 15yr. old grandson was convicted of rape,robbery,sodomy, and oral copulation and given 94 yrs. in prison their was dna done and it showed that 1:4.25 million and he was still convicted that less than 1% he has lost his whole childhood being locked up for a crime he did not commit and the victim was co-inhearsed in saying that he was the intended assailant how can a 140-150 pound juvenile make a woman walk for almost 2 miles and go to an atm machine by a police substation and walk back to give money to the assailant i believe the victim was dating a black man their was problems and she cried rape my grandson semen was not found in this victim.first of all when he was picked up my he was picked up for trespassing for jumping over a fence at a local liquor to get to a friend house the owner of the store called the police when he was taken out of the car for trespassing and was taken to the police station and my daughter was suppose to pick him up instead the officer took him to a local hospital for dna and then charged him with all these heinous crimes their need to be some kind of way of getting the proper help to free this child he has to fight to keep people from hurting him and he is now 28 yrs. old where is justice

I sympathize with your pain, but if the police, prosecutor, 12 jurors and a judge all were convinced by the evidence that he was guilty 'beyond a reasonable doubt', your emotions and belief in 'his version' of the facts do not change the situation or make it true. If there had been grounds for appeal of the conviction, he should have timely pursued that. That was the only 'proper help' and process available to him.
