Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
sexual abuse
I am a 54 year old man who was sexually abused by a teenage neighbor during the time I was 5 to 8 years old. I recently discovered that he works for a school district in the transportation dept. I feel a need to somehow notify this school district and want to know where I stand legally if I do so. As this happened so many years ago there is no way that I can prove anything. I just think they should know. Would it be better to inform Children Services for that county? Any other suggestions?

Caution, be careful how you disclose and discuss the problem to avoid a charge of slander. Report it to the local police or government agencies with immunity.
