In regards to I was shopping in a department store..
If they think they have enough evidence will a warrant be issued for my arrest? And if so how long does that usually take?

They might attempt to notify you of a court date by sending something in the mail to you, if they have your current address. That said, the prosecution does not really have any duty to tell you anything. They could simply designate a court date for your case without letting you know, and then, if you do not show up, a warrant would issue.
You should stay on top of this situation and any upcoming court dates. Best to do it through a lawyer.

There's no way of answering your questions. They'll do whatever they decide, on their own schedule. If they have evidence, charges will likely be filed.
