Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Where do I go
Hello,
My siblings and I are share holders in a Block factory in Mexicali , Baja California, Mexico. We are all US Citizens (siblings & I). We sued my uncle for committing fraud against us, but he is a politician in mexico, he used to be the Mayor for Mexicali. Where can I go in the US to get help to protect our interests and kind of force the mexican authorities to play by the rules? We are talking about millions of dollars. And a lot of influence on his part (uncle's).

Based on the limited facts you have provided, I'd say your case probably has to be litigated in Mexico. Nothing you wrote suggests that American courts would have jurisdiction over this case. With more facts my answer might be different.

"force the mexican authorities to play by the rules?" Dream on. Your money, and your legal remedies, are in Mexico. The US courts and 'authorities' couldn't care less about your problem. That is the risk you take investing there. Hire a good Mexican attorney, and be prepared to have to match bribe with bride to try to get 'justice' in the mexican courts.
