Is to solicit prostitution a misdemeanor or a felony and how to expunge?

A misdemeanor. You can try to expunge the conviction AFTER you have fully completed all terms of probation, and have no further arrests or convictions. In some cases, it may also be possible to get early termination of your probation, based upon good behavior and need.
