Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If someone's on probation for sale and possession of marijuana and gets arrested and released with another charge of only possession of medical marijuana, what are the chances of getting violated and going to prison? And what are the chances that the judge will throw out the case? Also, what if I had all my paperwork on me, but the police didn't aknowledge it? And also, my perscription was sealed and the police opened it.

New arrest equals new need for legal defense of the charges and possible probation violation, based upon whatever credible facts, evidence, and arguments you may have. Speculation about outcome is wasted effort. Once your attorney deals with the DA, you'll know their attitude about penalties.
