Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My son was arrested for domestic abuse and charged with a felony. His wife was having their baby in the hospital and the
doctor saw her bruises so called the police. It is his first offense.
His bail on paper is $50,000 and he has his first arraignment in 2 days.
. He is currently in jail.
Should I wait until Tuesday to see if the bail can be reduced before I spend my retirement savings.

You probably should save your money, Instead of spending it on bail, hire an attorney who may be able to get the defendant out on OR, or on reduced bail. That is a lesson always learned too late. Is the non-refundable price of the bondsman's price worth a couple days early release??
