My son was arrested for stealing from a department store and is charged with burglary. I looked up his case in the court website and found information but I need help in understanding what it all means. I have copied and pasted from the court website below:

Understand that he is charged with a felony, not a shoplifting misdemeanor. This is punishable with prison time. He needs an attorney, get him one. If this is in LA/OC area, feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.
