Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My son was living with his girlfriend. Recently she found out he stole jewlery from her and pawned some of it. He said he would make payments to her, or if the pawn shop still has it will try and get it back. She has two other roomates. She continues to stay with him, but is constantly threating to call police. He is on parole. What is he facing now?? She said there was at least 10,000 dollars worth of jewlery, but has no proof.

Your son is possibly facing a parole violation as well as the possible charges of grand theft and burglary. If he can get the jewlery out of the pawn shop and give them back to his girlfriend, that would be best. You may want to speak to a qualified in or near your area, to more fully discuss all the relevant information. Most attorney give FREE CONSULTATIONS, so you have nothing to lose by speaking with an attorney. I wish you well.......David Wallin
