Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Spousal Restitution Obligation
Recently released from federal ''camp'' for mail fraud conviction with $670,000 in restitution. I met someone and wish to get married. Is there a way to structure a premarital agreement so the federal government cannot take any of my future spouse's income toward restitution for a crime she had nothing to do with? Thank you!!

Re: Spousal Restitution Obligation
Yes. But it will also take proper design and use of bank accounts and property titles, possibly the use of a trust for property and income. Contact me if interested and willing to do it right.
