Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
SSA benefits
ssa said I can get benefits because my case is over 10 years olds, it wasn't the case which involved drugs and violent., now I just need to ask
the repositor who sent out the warrant to withdraw it or no longer interest in the case. How do I do that. I am now living out of the USA for over 15 years.

Re: SSA benefits
By hiring counsel to represent you in the court that issued the warrant, and dealing with the warrant and the underlying criminal case you never handled. If it is a misdemeanor, an attorney can appear for you. If it is a felony, you must personally appear in court with the attorney. You don't just 'ask' a court to drop a case; that would be a wonderful world where we get everything we want, wouldn't it? Feel free to contact me if serious about handling this, if the case is in SoCal courts.
