Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Stalker Calling my Workplace
Last week I engaged in a ''flame war'' on a blogging web-site with another user. That user succeeded in getting my blog (binary log or on-line journal) deactivated at which point I told him, ''You will suffer.'' (My intention was to have his blog removed for making bogus claims against me.)
The person in question then tracked my IP address and used it to find my place of work. He then began calling and e-mailing my employers to get me fired. (I have not been fired, though.) This person is also following me around the internet and generally making my on-line life difficult.
Do I have a case?

Yes, potentially criminal and civil. If you want help getting this handled and stopped, feel free to contact me.

If you have damages, and if the defendant has the resources to pay (you can find him or her, they have property or a job), and if your emails aren't equally nasty in tone, you might possibly have a case for stalking or defamation.
