Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

statute of limitations California

I recently found out I have a warrant for receiving or concealing property that I allegedly knew to be stolen. This warrant is 17 years old and I was never served. Is there a statute of limitations that would be valid here?

No. Warrants are forever. However, if you properly handle this now, by appearing in court with counsel, the chances are good that he could get the case and warrant dismissed, or otherwise dealt with effectively. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting the legal help you'll need, if the case is in SoCal courts.
