Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
stolen inheritance
My 2 cousins withdrew 44,000 from my Grandmothers estate account of which my brother and I are also heirs to.
They did this without our knowledge and after my Grandmother passed away.
Is this a criminal or a civil offence. Do I need to hire an attorney or turn it over to the D.A.?
Also, before they did this, the estate was worth over $100,000. Now the cousins say that probate is not necessary.

Re: stolen inheritance
Report it to the police, and consider filing a civil case as well to seek recovery - if they have anything left to pay with.
