Subpoena
I received a subpoena (criminal) in the mail against my boyfried for domistic violence I dont want to show up what will happen to me

If you don't appear, the court will issue a bench warrant. Sheriff's deputies will then come to your home or workplace and bring you to court. They will use force if necessary. You will then be compelled to testify, and will be held in contempt if you refuse. Even if you cooperate, the court may punish you for disobeying the subpoena.
