Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I am supposed to show proof to the court next week of completion of 96 hours of inpaitent rehab from a DUI offense that I pled guilty to in June, and I have not been able to complete. Can I ask the court for a continuance?

You can ask, for anything you like. It is up to the judge whether to grant it, based upon whatever 'good faith' efforts you have made to comply. If you just blew it off, you can expect the court to deny, revoke your probation, and impose the original sentence.
