Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I suspect that a family member has forged a holographic will that they say my mother wrote. What legal actions can I take.

You may want to repost this in probate law. I've never seen a forged will prosecuted in this state, but challenges to wills are made all the time when they are submitted for probate.

This becomes a will contest, requiring you file an action in the Probate Court. You'll need to hire counsel to do so, unless you are willing to learn all the law and procedure rules to handle the case like an attorney would.
